Mitt i sommaren / In the middle of summer

Vi är mitt uppe i en värmebölja och trädgården exploderar…

/We are in the middle of a heatwave and the garden is exploding…/

En Talgoxefamilj har flyttat in i en av våra holkar. Ungarna matas med stora, feta insekter.
/ A great tit family has moved into our garden and the parents feed their little ones with big, fat insects./
Solljuset glittrar bland nävorna
/ The sunlight glitters among the geraniums/

Poem by Mary Oliver

Everything That Was Broken
Everything that was broken has
forgotten it’s brokenness. I live
now in a sky-house, through every
window the sun. Also your presence.
Out touching, our stories. Earthy
and holy both. How can this be, but
it is. Every day has something in
it whose name is forever.

Rosen Violacea.

…och nu har alla gammaldags buskrosor börjat blomma. Så vackra och underbart doftande…
/…and now all the old fashion rose bushes have started to bloom. So beautiful and with wonderful fragrances./

‘Pooh!’ he whispered.
‘Yes, Piglet?’
‘Nothing,’ said Piglet, taking Pooh’s paw. ‘I just wanted to be sure of you.’
